DAY 01 – ARRIVAL -NAIROBI
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi; you will be met outside the arrivals and transfer to the hotel for check in with the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and Overnight at the Royal Orchid Nairobi (Breakfast & Dinner)
DAY 02 – NAIROBI –ABERDARES
APPROX: 180 km 3.0HRS - 3.5HRS
After breakfast drive to Aberdare Country Club. The club is nestled on a slope of Mweiga Hill in the Aberdare Highlands, part of the Great Rift Valley. This captivating site was the homestead of an English couple that decided to settle in Kenya. Almost a half century later, their home, "The Steep", was renamed the Aberdare Country Club and opened for guests. Considered a heritage property in Kenya, The Aberdare Country Club has retained the charm of a private home with the simple comforts of a country inn. With optional activities (booked and paid locally) like the club's 1,300 acre wildlife sanctuary which is teeming with Thompson and Grant's gazelles, zebras, giraffes, and the more reclusive leopards. It is a haven of unbridled charm set in a garden bursting in a profusion of colour, with peacocks roaming its lush green lawns. Walking through this unspoiled terrain is paradise. Play a round of golf watched by a family of warthog, go horseback riding, work out in the gym, have a massage, play tennis or just relax by the pool set within the beautiful gardens all at an extra cost. DAY 03 – ABERDARES - LAKE NAIVASHA
APPROX: 220 km 3.5HRS – 4.0HRS
After breakfast drive to Lake Naivasha which is a freshwater lake. Lake Naivasha is on the floor of the East African Rift Valley. Birdlife is particularly abundant (over 460 species). It is a breeding ground for cormorants all year round. You might see pelicans and spoonbills perched on the dead trees and almost certainly the fish eagle. There are two species of fish breeding in this fresh water lake, black bass and tilapia. The tilapias are ‘mouth breeders’, the various species of fresh water mouth breeders are known as “tilapia”. Large and small frogs are abundant, from the bull frog to the tiny tree toad. Crescent Island in Lake Naivasha is part of the rim of submerged volcano whose crater forms the deepest part of the Lake (can be booked and paid locally at an extra cost). Lunch is at the resort. Rest of the afternoon will be spent at leisure with various optional activities available and can be booked and paid for locally. DAY 04 – LAKE NAIVASHA –MASAI MARA
APPROX: 250 km 4.5HRS – 5.0HRS
After breakfast proceed to the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve via the Great Rift Valley. En route enjoy the beautiful scenery. Arrive at your lodge in time for Indian lunch and check in at the lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy an enthralling game-viewing drive at the Mara Spotting lions, cheetahs and other spectacular predators. Masaimara is Kenya’s finest wildlife spectacle. The unending landscape hosts some 400-500 bird species, 95 animal species and all of the great predators, including the country’s largest lion population. The Mara lies within the territory of the Maasai, who help administer the park and protect it from poachers. All meals and overnight at Mara Leisure Camp(Breakfast , Lunch & Dinner)
DAY 05: MASAI MARA
Early morning game drive in the Mara National reserve and breakfast at the camp. Spend the rest of the morning at leisure with lunch at the camp. In the afternoon proceed for another game drive of game spotting in this wildlife haven exploring a region bestowed with over 500 square miles of savannas, woodlands and tree-fringed rivers. Watch as the resident wildlife amble out with wide, purposeful eyes as the sun begins to set. You may observe crocodiles as they bask in the sun; see ever-alert hippos wallow in muddy, cooling water; and catch the antics of mischievous monkeys overhead. Watch, too, as massive African elephants rustle along the forest edge and lanky, graceful giraffes snatch leaves from branches high above. One evening, enjoy a Scenic Sundowner experience. DAY 06 - MASAI MARA- NAIROBI
APPROX: 300 km 5.0HRS – 6.0HRS
After breakfast drive back to Nairobi .Arrival in Nairobi city for lunch at a restaurant. Check-in to the hotel, evening free for leisure. Indian dinner and overnight stay at the Royal Orchid Hotel.(Breakfast , Lunch & Dinner)
DAY 07 – NAIROBI- DEPARTURE
After Breakfast you will be dropped at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport in time to connect your onward flight to South Africa - India. Tour ends with pleasant memory of your Holidays with "AAIFLY TRAVEL HUB"
