DAY: 07- KUALA LUMPUR
Start your day with a trip out of the city towards the Batu Caves, a huge limestone outcrop home to an elaborate Hindu temple. The caves are a popular place of worship for Hindus, with hundreds of thousands of traveling to the temple for the celebration of Thaipusam. Below the temple lies the Dark Cave, a two-kilometer long network of untouched caverns containing many cave animals, including several found nowhere else in the world! Lunch at Batu caves.
After taking some time to explore the caverns we will make our way to the Genting Highlands. Breathe in the cool, crisp mountain air at 6,000 feet above sea level, and enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding area. Note: Outdoor Theme Park is closed until further notice. Stop at the cable car station and take a skyway cable car ride, with the sky above you and a tropical rainforest below. Ride up to the hilltop on the longest and fastest cable car in Southeast Asia, and take some time on your own to enjoy the local activities or the nearby casino.
Half-day introduction to Kuala Lumpur tour of the city including admission to the Kuala Lumpur Tower Observation Deck. Continue to the Petronas Twin Towers for a photo stop, then drive past the Golden Triangle, a trio of bustling streets lined with skyscrapers, hotels, and shopping malls. See Independence Square, also called Merdeka Square, where Colonial-era buildings and Continue to the National Mosque, King’s Palace, and Lake Garden, a sprawling botanical garden that’s visible from the road. DAY: 08- KUALA LUMPUR
Sunway Lagoon Theme Park is located in Petaling Jaya – a thriving satellite town – about 15km southwest of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre. With a variety of watery rides on offer and plenty of dry-land activities too, there are few more fun ways to spend a day than cooling down at Sunway. Water slides that whirl and twirl, a manmade ‘river’ ride, a surf beach, a wave pool, a 360° revolving pirate ship… the list of fun attractions at the 80-acre park is extensive. Built on the site of a former tin mine and quarry, when it first opened the highlights of this multi-zone theme park were its water slides and the world’s largest manmade surf beach.
