Overnight in Tromsø.
Today, enjoy a full-day Sommarøy Arctic excursion, a scenic round-trip across Kvaløya Island. Stop at Northern Norway’s most breathtaking fjords and witness the rugged snow-capped peaks meeting the sea. Along the way, look out for reindeer and learn about the fascinating Sami culture from your guide. Enjoy a delicious local lunch at Sommarøy, a fishing village surrounded by turquoise waters.
Later, return to Tromsø and take the Fjellheisen Cable Car for panoramic views of the city and surrounding fjords. In the evening, embark on a guided Northern Lights tour, chasing the world’s most magical natural spectacle across the Arctic sky.
Overnight in Tromsø.
After breakfast, visit Polaria – The Arctic Experience Center, where you’ll learn about Arctic marine life and northern wildlife. Later, board the express ferry to Harstad, and then continue your scenic drive to Stokmarknes, located in the stunning Vesterålen region. Known as the birthplace of Hurtigruten Cruises, this charming coastal town offers breathtaking views of fjords and mountains.
Overnight in Stokmarknes.
Start your morning with an exhilarating RIB-boat safari to Trollfjord, one of Norway’s most dramatic fjords surrounded by towering peaks. Keep an eye out for white-tailed sea eagles and other Arctic wildlife.
Later, visit the Hurtigruten Museum, housed within a glass building encasing a full-size historic ship – MS Finnmarken (1956) – offering a fascinating look into Norway’s coastal heritage. Afterward, proceed to Narvik, a city rich with World War II history and surrounded by majestic mountains.
Overnight in Narvik.
After breakfast, visit the Narvik War Museum, which tells gripping stories of the battles fought in the Arctic during World War II. Later, cross into Sweden and visit the world-famous Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi, where you’ll enjoy a unique Arctic lunch surrounded by hand-carved ice sculptures. Continue to Nutti Sami Siida, where you’ll meet the indigenous Sami people, learn about their reindeer-herding traditions, and experience authentic Sami culture.
Proceed to Kiruna, Sweden’s northernmost town. Spend the evening exploring at your own pace.
Overnight in Kiruna.
Today, travel east to Rovaniemi, the official hometown of Santa Claus in Finnish Lapland. Visit the magical Santa Claus Village, where Christmas lives year-round. Meet Santa himself, cross the Arctic Circle, and send a postcard from the official Arctic Circle Post Office — a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.
