Admire the grandeur of the Large and Small Guilds, once central to Riga’s Hanseatic trade heritage. After breakfast, embark on a journey to Kuldiga, one of Latvia’s most picturesque towns. With its charming cobbled streets, red-tiled roofs, and wooden houses, Kuldiga feels like stepping into a storybook.
Visit St. Catherine’s Church, the town’s oldest landmark, and see the remains of the 13th-century castle. Then, marvel at the Kuldiga Brick Bridge, the longest of its kind in Europe, gracefully spanning the Venta River. Just nearby lies the famous Venta Rapid — Europe’s widest waterfall, where locals once caught fish leaping from the water mid-air!
