Day wise travel itinerary

Arrive at Dehradun Airport or Railway Station and transfer to Haridwar, one of India’s holiest cities. If time permits, witness the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, where the river comes alive with flickering diyas and chants. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

Drive through winding mountain roads, lush valleys, and charming villages to reach Barkot, the gateway to Yamunotri. Check into your hotel and rest for the night.

Early morning drive to Janki Chatti, the starting point of the trek to Yamunotri. Walk through stunning landscapes to reach Yamunotri Temple. Take a holy dip in Surya Kund, offer prayers at Divya Shila, and seek blessings from Goddess Yamuna. Trek back to Janki Chatti and return to Barkot for the night.

Travel to Uttarkashi, a serene town on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Visit the Vishwanath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Embark on a scenic drive to Gangotri, the origin of the holy River Ganga. En route, enjoy views of the Harsil Valley and the crystal waters of the Bhagirathi River. After offering prayers at Gangotri Temple, return to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.

A long but beautiful drive through mountain passes and river valleys takes you to Guptkashi, an important stop before Kedarnath. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Drive to Sonprayag, take a local jeep to Gaurikund, and start your trek to Kedarnath Temple. Perched at 3,581 meters amidst snow peaks, Kedarnath is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Participate in evening aarti before resting overnight in Kedarnath.

After morning darshan, trek down to Gaurikund and drive back to Guptkashi. Overnight stay.

Drive via Chopta, known as the “Mini Switzerland” of Uttarakhand. If time allows, attend the evening aarti at Badrinath Temple. Overnight stay in Badrinath.

Take a holy dip in Tapt Kund, then seek blessings at Badrinath Temple. Visit nearby attractions — Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Mata Murti Temple, Bhim Kund, and the origin of the Saraswati River. Continue to Rudraprayag for an overnight stay.

Drive to Rishikesh and explore Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Triveni Ghat. Arrive in Haridwar for an overnight stay.
