Day wise travel itinerary
Arrive in Ahmedabad and start your journey with a visit to Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar (closed on Mondays) — a breathtaking temple complex dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan, famed for its intricate carvings and spiritual ambience. Continue to the Sidi Sayed Mosque, celebrated for its delicate stone lattice work, and the Hatheesing Jain Temple, an exquisite marble wonder dating back to 1850. Step into history at the Sabarmati Ashram, Mahatma Gandhi’s serene residence during the freedom movement. End the day at the Adalaj Stepwell, a 15th-century architectural gem that blends beauty and engineering. Overnight in Ahmedabad.
After breakfast, journey towards Dwarka, stopping en route at Bala Hanuman Temple in Jamnagar — famous for its continuous chanting of “Jai Ram, Shri Ram” since 1964, a Guinness World Record. Arrive in Dwarka, one of India’s Char Dhams, and visit the Dwarkadhish Temple. Witness the mesmerizing evening aarti as chants fill the air and the temple glows under the night sky. Overnight in Dwarka.
Begin your day with the divine morning aarti at Dwarkadhish Temple. Take a short boat ride to Bet Dwarka, believed to be the ancient residence of Lord Krishna. Pay respects at Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, one of the 12 sacred abodes of Lord Shiva, and visit the serene Rukmini Temple, dedicated to Krishna’s beloved queen. Overnight in Dwarka.
Travel to Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi, and visit Kirti Mandir, his ancestral home. Explore the Sudama Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna’s childhood friend. Continue to Somnath, home to the Somnath Jyotirlinga Temple, where devotion meets the roar of the Arabian Sea. Attend the spiritually uplifting evening aarti, followed by the spectacular sound & light show that narrates the temple’s legendary history. Overnight in Somnath.
After breakfast, bid farewell to the sacred land of Gujarat and proceed for your onward journey, carrying memories of divine darshans, historical marvels, and the warm smiles of its people.
